Our social studies class is currently working on an economics unit learning about producers and consumers. We are also learning about analyzing different types of advertisements that companies use in order to sell their different products. The students are in "Company Groups" for this unit. The object is for the students to create an imaginary company that sells some type of surf wear. Within groups, students need to collaborate to create a company name and description, company logo, a product design and description, product name, radio advertisement, and TV commercial. Each company has its own page on this site where they are to post their work.
